Former First Lady summoned to the Police Station

Former First Lady, Laila Ali has received a slip summoning her to the Police Station tomorrow night.

Police Media Official told Sun Media tonight that the former First Lady is being summoned regarding the forged letter from the Maldives Correctional Services that says that the former President Mohamed Nasheed, her husband, was permanently moved to house arrest.

The slip sent from the Maldives Police Service to Laila Ali says that she is being summoned to the Police HQ Shaheed Hussain Adam Building at 20:30 on 28 August 2015, Friday for questioning regarding a case being investigated by the Police.

Police went to M. Yagoothuge to find the original of a allegedly forged letter from the Maldives Correctional Services saying that the former President Mohamed Nasheed who is serving a 13-year prison sentence has permanently been moved to house arrest.
